Neutral Wall Colors In A More Interesting Way For Decorating

Choosing a color scheme for your home could be a daunting task, particularly if you worry you'll tire of the certain color or combination. That's one of the reasons we love the idea of decorating with a soft pastel or neutral color scheme. These barely there shades are a lovely option, and merely because they aren't bold doesn't mean they need to be boring! Here are some uses of neutral wall colors in a more interesting way:

The toilet includes a creamy white wainscoting at the base from the wall, combined with a gentle green on the top. By balancing texture and color, you're left with a captivating, neutral space that is anything but dull.

Wall murals and patterns are a fabulous way to use a neutral color scheme inside a playful way. This space includes a stripe around the fireplace wall in two warm shades of taupe to create an additional layer of dimension. It makes the right focal point inside a living area.

The attractive light green within the space is ideal for this mudroom since it echoes the leafy trees outside the large window. Selecting a shade that already exists in the space is an ideal way to draw inspiration.

The mauve color within this hallway feels interesting but in your own home within this space because of the way it compliments the light greens in the large painting. By selecting a shade on the opposite end from the color wheel, the wall color feels at home with this painting.
